Referee
Point Requirements

Eligibility
Requirements:
1.
Complete a current Volunteer
Application, which must be updated annually by going to www.ayso32.org, logging in and finishing the volunteer prompts.
2.
You must become an AYSO certified
referee. To do this, go to www.aysou.org,
log in using the same information as in step 1. Click on Online Courses and you
will need to take these courses:
a.
Safe Haven
b.
CDC: Concussion Course
Sudden Cardiac Arrest
c.
Regional Referee Training (you can
log in and take at your own pace, saves where you last left off)
d.
Attend one of the Referee
Companion courses found at www.ayso32.org
3.
Be dressed in the full proper
referee uniform attire to reflect professionalism.
4.
You can represent 2 teams at a
time, however only one team will get credit as a “New Referee” points
5.
If a team has earned less than the
required points listed below, their season will end at the conclusion of
regular Fall season play.
6.
Donated team points must be
approved by the Regional Referee Administrator. Teams with less than 75% of
points completed on their own will NOT be considered for donation of points.

3 points after 3 consecutive hours MUST BE A CERTIFIED INJURED REFEREE. Maximum of 6 points per season |

8U Division
|
·
8U – Provide (2) new
volunteers to train and certify as an 8U referee or regional referee, the new
referees will officiate their own games.
·
8U is
self-sufficient. Home team (team listed first on schedule) is to provide the
Referee, Away team (team listed second on schedule) is to provide the
Assistant Referees.
·
Newly certified
referees MUST officiate a minimum of 5 games to qualify for Jamboree.

10U Division 25 POINTS
|
· Provide one (1) new volunteer to train and certify as a Regional Referee that MUST officiate a minimum of 5 games OR complete a certification upgrade to an Intermediate Referee to be properly certified to officiate in the 10U. · 10U is self-sufficient. Home team (team listed first on schedule) is to provide the Referee, Away team (team listed second on schedule) is to provide the Assistant Referees. | |

12U & 14U Divisions 15 POINTS

· Provide 2 certified and trained referees to assist in meeting team requirements. · Each team must be prepared to provide 1 AR to assist with their match. · It is strongly recommended that teams provide a referee to take an upgrade course for continued training and be properly certified to officiate in the specified division in order to earn maximum points. |
