THE WONDERFUL LIFE OF JACKIE LEWIS!!!!
Jackie Lewis was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who loved the Lord with her entire heart. She was a fun loving, outgoing person that LOVED living, helping and being of service to anyone that needed it. She has 5 amazing children (David, Greg, Samantha, Nathaniel and Matthew) ranging in age from 13 years old to 21 years old. She and her loving husband of 27 years raised their family to love each other, and to love the Lord. On Wednesday, August 12, 2015, while surrounded by her family and friends, Jackie peacefully went to be with her Lord and live in His Kingdom where she will continue to take care of the ones that she loves in true Jackie fashion.
Jackie began her fight with breast cancer in 2006 while still doing countless volunteer hours with AYSO, including acting as the "RC" (Regional Commissioner). She felt a duty to serve and did so despite her own personal battle. Region 32 was enhanced with programs like the VIP and “Xtra” because she felt no one should ever be limited to what they can do in life for any reason. After several rounds of chemotherapy, her cancer went into remission. In December 2014, she was informed that her cancer had returned. She learned that it was in her bones, lungs and liver…… But anyone that knows Jackie knew that she is anointed in the Lord and that her FIGHT would be thorough and strong!!!!!!! And it was!!!!
Jackie was so important to so many people for so many reasons. She touched so many lives in the best possible way.
A GoFundMe page was established on behalf of the Lewis family to help assist them financially, while they establish a “new normal” without their precious wife and mother. As we all know, life goes on and as David and the kids grieve this loss, the financial burdens of life continue.
